Controller

Data we process

• Account: email, password (PBKDF2 hash only), date of birth, language and currency.
• Profile: name, gender, preferences, city, bio, interests and photos.
• Approximate location (~1 km), only with your permission.
• Activity: likes, matches, messages (original and translation), blocks and reports.
• Verification: live selfie and the result of comparing it with your photos.
• Security: encrypted PIN and WebAuthn public keys (your fingerprint never leaves your device).
• Payments: purchase records (we do not store card details).

Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the dating service and chat (performance of contract).
• Automatic message translation (performance of contract; you can always view the original).
• Selfie verification and face comparison (explicit consent, given when you start verification, which you can withdraw).
• Fraud and abuse prevention and moderation (legitimate interest and legal obligation).
• Payments (contract and tax obligations).

Sensitive and biometric data

Your sexual orientation and facial verification data are sensitive data (Law 25,326 art. 7, GDPR art. 9, LGPD art. 11; biometric data under laws such as Illinois BIPA). We only process them with your explicit consent. The selfie is stored privately, is only seen by our review team and is deleted when you delete your account or ask us to.

Service providers

Cloudflare (hosting, database, storage and AI for translation and verification); Mercado Pago and Stripe (card and other payments); NOWPayments (cryptocurrency payments, e.g. USDT); PayPal (payments, only once enabled); Resend (sending verification and password-reset emails). Each provider only receives the data needed for its function. We do not sell or “share” your data for advertising.

International transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country (e.g. in the US) with appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

While your account is active. Deleting it immediately erases your profile, photos, selfies, matches and messages; payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, restriction and withdrawal of consent (GDPR arts. 15-22; LGPD art. 18; Law 25,326 arts. 14-16; CCPA: right to know, delete, correct and non-discrimination). You can edit or delete your account in the app or email us. We reply within 30 days.

Complaints

You can complain to your local authority: AAIP (Argentina), your EU/EEA data protection authority, ANPD (Brazil) or your US state attorney general.

Children

The service is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Location, moderation and shared dates

We never show your exact location: we store approximate coordinates (with a random ~1 km offset) and only show rounded distances. Messages and photos are automatically analysed by AI for moderation; reported content may be reviewed by our team. If you use "Share date", we store the details you enter and delete them 2 days after the date. To verify your email or reset your password we store a temporary hashed code.

Advertising and cookies

If you are not VIP, we show Google AdSense ads on some screens (never in chat, disguise mode, payments or the admin panel). Google and its partners may use cookies and identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your consent. In the EU/EEA and the UK you will be asked for consent. You can manage personalization at adssettings.google.com and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Our own cookies are strictly necessary (session and language). VIP users see no ads.

Security

HTTPS, hashed passwords, HttpOnly session cookies and private photos visible only to registered users.
